Hi Everyone! Welcome to my Corrosive Challenge Design Team project for August. This month I used “Ballerina” by “Mari Digi's” http://maridigisstore2.blogspot.ca/p/contato.html The challenge this month is HOT HOT HOT Summer. I coloured my image using my copics and then backed it onto a faux landscape by TatteredLace paper. I diecut a circle of double sided adhesive and added glitter to create my hot sun. “Shine Bright” is a fun sentiment from Mama Elephant and I like to use it as words of encouragement. Good Luck to everyone in our August challenge. http://corrosivechallengesbyjanet.blogspot.ca/

This is my entry for the new East Wind Blog Challenge “All Dressed Up”. I’ve created this card using the beautiful image “Aurora Bloom” from Unky and The East Wind. I’ve used my copic markers to colour her. Silver hair is very trendy right now, so I’ve tried combining my warm grays with some yellow to create this look. I never tire of colouring The East Wind images and I find I am inspired to colour beautifully no matter which image I choose. This project is one of my favourites; I just love black, red and cream.
This is my entry for the Aurora Wings Facebook challenge for February 2016 “Enchanted Garden” I’ve used two images by Mitzi the artist of Aurora Wings. The two images I used to create this project are “Angel of Sympathy and “Flower Maiden. All my colouring was done using my copic markers. I used glossy accents to create little dewdrops on the Calla Lilies. Using foam tape I rounded up the large Lilies after fussy cutting them from the original image to give it dimension. I layered the scalloped ovals on some coordinating patterned paper from my stash of paper to finish the project.
Hi Everyone, This is my entry for The East Wind "Friendship" challenge. I've played with the image to create a cozy scene. I've coloured it with my copics, popped one of the girls up with foam tape, to make it look like they are in a forest hanging out together. I cut two different patterned papers on the diagonal and attached them from the back to create the look of a single sheet. Again I used foam tape to pop the whole scene portion up for more dimension.
I've coloured this stunning image "Woman with Gardenias and Pearls" from the amazing art "Aurora Wings" https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/AuroraWings?ref=pr_faveshops with my copics. The black pearls were coloured using my black Wink of Stella to give them that extra sparkle. Using my Minc I foiled the sentiment and layered the card on some patterned paper to keep it simple and the image my focus.
This is my entry over on Kit and Clowder Facebook for their February Challenge by "Sweet Escape" I've coloured my image and the grass on the right with my Copics and used Wink of Stella on the heart. I then fussy cut my image and popped her up with foam tape on the background patterned paper. I've used multiple different patterned papers and dies for this project to create my scene. I wanted a soft sentiment to go with the soft look of my project and found this sweet little one by Hampton Art and thought it was perfect. I've embossed it using Hampton Art embossing powder in an off white colour and thought it looked perfect with the finished project.
Hi Everyone, this is my entry for My Favourite Colour Challenge on Stamps by Aurora Wings Facebook. I’ve used the adorable “Sprite Lily of the Valley” by Aurora Wings to create this 6x6 Valentine’s day card. The patterned paper is DCWV and the beautiful diecut sentiment is by Penny Black. I distressed the paper edges with Seedless Preserves Distress ink and then added some flowers and gems from my stash. I’ve coloured the image with my copics and sparkled up her face with some Wink of stella.

I've used copics to colour my image and added some accents using some simple foiling techniques on the sentiment and stars. Using my favorite gold leafing pen I highlighted the edges to create a soft, elegant layered look while keeping the beautiful image the focus.
I can't wait to see all your creations at The Corrosive Challenge!!!
Hi Everyone, Isn't she beautiful! An image like this is always super fun for me to colour. This was an advanced assignment for the Kit and Clowder Skin and Hair class, I loved her so much I immediately purchased the full image from the wonderfully inspired art of "AuroraWings" https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/AuroraWings?ref=shop_suggNext month I am so lucky to be creating with an AuroraWings image for my DT project for "The Corrosive Challenge Blog " http://corrosivechallengesbyjanet.blogspot.no/
Hope to see your wonderful creations there for their monthly challenges:)
My mom asked for a bouquet and a card made by me for her birthday, so I combined both into one. This bouquet will last forever. I copied this bouquet from Dover Publication "Beautiful Floral Bouquets" onto copic friendly paper so I could colour it with my copics and fit it onto a 6x6 card base. After colouring the vase and flowers I fussy cut with an exacto knife the floral portion, then added some sparkle with clear Wink of Stella and added some shading and sentiment to the bottom portion and popped it up with foam tape over some patterned paper and some layers of cardstock. I think it turned out pretty and she will like it :)
This was a very exciting 3rd place win for me on the KitandClowder Facebook Challenge Sponsored by The East Wind. The image is Aurora "HollyandOlive"and the challenge was creativity using this image. I coloured her with copics and my objective was to colour her hair to resemble gold and appear to have gold dripping from the tips. I had great fun creating the look and was very happy with the result.
